Sebastian Zunko

I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember, and my artistic journey has been defined by constant exploration. Sticking to just one technique would drive me insane—I’m always searching for new ways to express my creativity and bring my ideas to life. I find inspiration in the world around me: the energy of artistic people, the beauty of different cultures, the rhythm of music, or even the smallest details that catch my eye.

As a multiartist, I work across a spectrum of various techniques and mediums, but a recurring theme often emerges in my work—a darker aesthetic. While some might interpret this as melancholic or depressing, I see it differently. For me, these themes are part of the stories I tell and the emotions I explore, which bring depth and authenticity to my art.

Art is my sanctuary. In my creative process, I feel most at home, happy. As one of my art teachers once said, "It looks like you’re at peace."

With over 10 years as an artist and six years of formal art education, my journey began in earnest during high school when I started painting seriously. Since then, I’ve embraced countless techniques and approaches to art, building a diverse body of work. This portfolio is a reflection of that journey—a place where all my ideas come together for you to see and experience.
